Christmas Parties

The summer holidays are over, and the nights are drawing in which can only mean that Christmas is just around the corner!

We are now taking bookings for Christmas parties between Thursday 23rd November and Saturday 23rd December 2023. Our amazing Head Chef Reuben has come up with two sumptuous Christmas menus which you can see below. Both are three courses and there is a £25 or £35 option.

LETS BEGIN

Beetroot & feta salad with a balsamic reduction (v+)

Honey roast parsnip soup with a spiced apple compote served with a homemade bread roll (v+)

St Ives smoked salmon bruschetta with a caper dressing

THE MAIN EVENT

Traditional roast turkey with pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes and gravy

Wild mushroom and gruyere tart with seasonal vegetables and a port wine reduction  (v)

Seafood linguine with crab, smoked prawns, mussels and lemon

Cornfed breast of chicken with a Tuscan five bean stew

TO CONCLUDE

White chocolate pannacotta with a mixed berry compote (v)

Home made sticky toffee Christmas pudding (v)

 

Option 2

LETS BEGIN

Whipped goats cheese with pickled baby vegetables and a tarragon dressing (v)

Confit chicken terrine with pistachios & apricots and a red onion & chilli marmalade

St Ives smoked salmon bruschetta with a caper dressing

THE MAIN EVENT

Traditional roast turkey with pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes and gravy

Pancetta wrapped ling with fondant potatoes and a smoked prawn cream

Slow roasted beef short rib with colcannon, crispy leeks and onion gravy

Apple, potato and onion cake with devilled mushrooms and a mint, chervil and tarragon dressing (v+)

TO CONCLUDE

Chocolate marquise with salted caramel, clotted cream and vanilla ice cream (v)

Lemon tart and raspberry sorbet (v)

Homemade sticky toffee Christmas pudding with a butterscotch brandy sauce  (v)
